Topic: Visual Learning following sight onset in Blind Adults

Abstract
The primary focus of my talk will be in bringing science and technology
together for the service of mankind. The work that I have undertaken thus far
has adopted a cross-disciplinary approach to merge the advancement of basic
science and betterment of human conditions. In the first part, I will discuss
about challenges and opportunities in developing assistive technology for the
disabled people. In the second half of my talk, I will explain some of the
fundamental questions in brain science that will simultaneously contribute to
our understanding of various neurodevelopmental disorders and in the same
time will help us in developing the most sophisticated AI systems in
engineering.
