Office 365 overview

Office 365 includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote,

Publisher, Outlook, and Skype for Business.

Please note that the available version is based off Autoliv’s

current license agreement.

Office 365 for home use

▪ All Autoliv personnel with a current company email account

are eligible for the Office 365 home program.
▪ This offer allows you to install Office 365 at no cost on the
following devices:
▪ 1 personal PC or Mac
▪ 1 personal mobile phone
▪ 1 personal tablet
▪ If you leave the company or are terminated, the Office 365
license will also be terminated. This means if you want to
continue using Office 365, you will need to purchase it. You
also will lose the ability to modify documents associated with
your Autoliv account.
▪ One employee may install MS Office on 5 devices

Office 365 installation and support

▪ The following instructions will walk you through how to

install and activate Office 365 on Windows, Mac OS, Apple
iOS, or Android operating systems.
▪ We recommend that you use Internet Explorer or Chrome
to install on your personal computer because other
browsers may cause errors.
▪ The Autoliv IT Service Desk is providing Office 365
activation support, but no installation or application support.

How to Install on a personal computer
▪ From your home PC or Mac, go to:
https://login.microsoftonline.com/

▪ Enter your Autoliv email address and password.

▪ Select your language.

▪ Click Install.

Run the setup file

In Google Chrome, in the In Internet Explorer, click Run.

Option to save documents online (to the
cloud)

Some Windows 8 PCs will automatically sign you in with your local PC
(Live Account) and take you on a tour of OneDrive. Autoliv is not
activating OneDrive for Business.

You can skip this step, unless you have a personal OneDrive account that
you would like to setup.

Complete the installation

Continue to follow the prompts until installation is complete.

Download Office on a mobile device

▪ On company iOS devices, open the ALV App catalog and

download each Office application separately. After you tap
install on each app and follow the prompts, the app status
will show processing for a long time in the ALV app store.
Do not wait on this screen. Press the iPhone Home button
to go to your home screen.

▪ On personal mobile devices, download Office from your

device’s app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play
Store). Search for Office 365 and download each Office
application separately.

Outlook and OneDrive for Business

▪ The Outlook download will not give you access to your

Autoliv email; however, you may use Outlook on your
personal device to access your personal email. (Support
for this is not available through the Autoliv IT Service
Desk.)
▪ Autoliv is not activating OneDrive for Business for home or
company phone use, so you will not be able to access
your work files using OneDrive for Business.
