This is in continuation with letters cited under reference wherein, instructions were issued by this office for modifications to be carried out in TAX Switch /Local switch/SSTP for implementation of FMNP. In response, the circles have confirmed to this office about technical feasibility for implementing the instructions issued by this office regarding FMNP, However, the completion of activity has not been confirmed. As per directions of DOT, the FMNP inter operator test will be commenced shortly. It is reiterated that in case of non-compliance of TRAI Regulations/Directions mentioned above and/or non-conformance to BSNL C.O. Letters, Circles themselves will be responsible for any penal action initiated by TRAI/DoT. 6.
