Come Together for Raahat – a Fundraiser for Fani
Victims

Rural Yellow, a rural services organization specializing in delivering customised

marketing solutions with a last mile reach approach, is organising Raahat – an
initiative to raise fund and provide relief to the people affected by Fani, an
extremely severe tropical cyclonic storm that hit the state of Odisha on 3 rd May,
2019, including other adjoining states of West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh,
causing heavy infrastructural damage. The effort to restore connectivity, water
facilities, and electricity is one of major challenges with the state governments and
agencies that have been relentlessly working towards putting everything back to
normalcy. On top of it, the population most affected resides in the rural space of
these states who have witnessed wreckage on their homes and property.

In an attempt to provide an antidote, Rural Yellow is joining hands with many

corporates and relevant stakeholders to garner funds by involving people through
entertainment and engaging shows as a part of this initiative. The event is
scheduled on 11th May, 2019 (Saturday), from 10 AM to 10 PM, at Sarath City
Mall with PhonePe as the payments partner and ACC Trust as the cause partner.
Bollybeats Pro Instructor Team, which is Asia’s fastest growing Bollywood based
fitness program with presence across many countries, is going to engross people
with guided dance shows at around 6 PM on the same day. The event will also host
in-house games and trivia to bring in more participants who can partake in the
contribution drive. It is also going to be graced by members from the Central
Industrial Security Force (CISF) who are going to support this initiative in
spreading awareness and urging people to extend support to bring in the required
funds for the cause.
