All The President's Men Review

The political thriller movie, All The President's Men, will keep you on
the edge of your seats. True events of the watergate scandal have been
revealed. It is a classic example of how political statements are spread
throughout society.
This movie takes on the journey of two reporters for the Washington
post, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein and their investigation of the
burglary at the Watergate Apartment complex. The Washington post looks
into the real reason as to why President Nixon had a re-election. The two
reporters gather information from several sources to connect the burglary
to the White House. Even after Woodward and Bernstein received
concerns about their safety they still continued to figure out the mystery
going on. Through many ups and downs they uncovered the real story
about President Nixon and what he did.
Alan J. Pakula and his history with mystery movies definitely helped
with the quality of this movie. The way that the story is portrayed makes
you want to not take your eyes off the screen. The whole movie just
seemed like a domino effect. Everything just kept on building up one event
after another. Politics lovers will be very pleased with this movie. Everytime
the reporters hit a dead end a feeling of disappointment would come. It
was as if you were trying to figure out the mystery with them.
The suspense with all the sources and the secrets will kill you. The
wait to figure out the truth will be hard and long. This movie is as gripping
as any detective/mystery movie. This movie was so well done and
developed to its core. The way that the journalistic process is shown, as
well as the narrative, made this movie a success.
