[Announcement that Ceremony is About to Begin]


The Bonfal National High School Graduation Exercises is about to begin. We expect the Graduation Exercises
to last approximately 2 hours so before we begin this ceremony, let me remind you to turn your cell phones
to silent mode and be courteous around you by refraining from talking aloud. During the presentation of
graduates, we encourage you to express your pride by applauding and cheering.

[Introduction]
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Graduation day is always a day of rejoicing for it marks the conclusion
of an educational journey and the commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult part of
man’s quest for a better life and future. Truly, today signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in
the relentless pursuit of knowledge: knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities and take
on challenges with clear vision and purpose. Friends, welcome to the 2nd K to 12 Graduation Exercises of
Bonfal National High School.

With so much cheer, let us laud the graduates as they march towards the venue.

Ladies and Gentlemen, let us all welcome the candidates for graduation from the Academic Track – General
Academic Strand headed by their adviser, Mrs. Dolores A. Santos
Let us also welcome the candidates for graduation from the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood – Information
and Communications Technology with specialization in Computer Systems Servicing. Adviser – Ms. Noreen L.
Laborte
Last but not least, let us also applaud the candidates for graduation from the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood
– Industrial Arts with specialization in Carpentry headed by their adviser, Ms. Noreen L. Laborte

Let us also welcome our stakeholders, our Student Governing Council Officers, GPTA Officers,
representatives from the local government Unit, faculty and staff, our Schools Division Superintendent
represented by Dr. Dindo John H. Moreno, our School head and our Guest Speaker, Mr. Mark Joseph G.
Engaran.

[Call to Order, Lupang Hinirang/Awit, Opening prayer]


The 2nd K to 12 Graduation Exercises of Bonfal National High School is now in order. At this point, we shall
now have the singing of the National Anthem to be conducted by Mrs. Margery R. Guillermo – Teacher III
which will be followed by the Opening Prayer to be led by Mrs. Marybeth M. Lopez – Teacher I.

[Introductions]
Members of the graduating class, honored guests, members of School Governing Council and General
Parents and Teachers Association, faculty, staff, students, family, alumni and friends – my name is Ma. Julie
Anne C. Gajes, the Master of Ceremonies for the 2nd Graduation Exercises. Thank you to the members of
the Graduation Committee who spent many long hours planning this day and to the many others that have
helped to organize and plan this graduation exercises. Thank you Madame and sirs!

[Words of Welcome]
It’s always a pleasure to have family and friends of Bonfal National High School students visiting our campus.
Welcoming you here for today’s event is especially meaningful as we honor our graduates and celebrate
their achievements. To formally welcome us all, may I call on Dr. Perlita J. Tan, Head Teacher III of Bonfal
National High School
Ending: Thank you Madam for that heart-warming welcome speech.
[Presentation and Confirmation of Candidates]
Commencement also provides an opportunity to recognize Bonfal National High School’s outstanding faculty
and staff –who are dedicated to providing the highest quality education and to making a positive difference
in the lives of our students. May I request the members of the faculty and staff to please rise. [Pause] Ladies
and Gentlemen, please join me in saluting our faculty with a round of applause.

Despite the hurdles that we had to go through, completing the required _____ school days was never a
blockade for the 70 students in completing the Senior High School requirements. And now, here they are,
with smiles on their faces, very excited to get their diplomas. So without further-a-do, may I call on Mrs.
Dolores A. Santos, the GAS Subject Group Head to present the candidates for graduation to Dr. Flordeliza C.
Gecobe Nueva Vizcaya’s Schools Division Superintendent and _____________________ to certify the
candidates of graduation.

PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES

Beloved Schools Division Superintendent ____________, (or Beloved Assistant Schools Division
Superintendent/Division Supervisor)_________________, representing the Schools Division Superintendent,
___________________) I have the honor to present the 40 young men and 30 young women, a total of 70
graduating students of Bonfal National High School in the School Year 2018-2019

They have successfully completed the requirements of the Basic Education Curriculum prescribed by the
Department of Education for secondary schools of the Republic of the Philippines. May I now request the
confirmation of their graduation?

FOR THE REPRESENTATIVE

By the power vested in me by the Schools Division Superintendent, DR. FLORDELIZA C. GECOBE, and by
virtue of the certification made by your principal, DR. LOURDES P. ABANSI, that you have satisfactorily
completed all the requirements of the Basic Education Curriculum of the Philippines, I hereby confirm your
graduation this 4th day of April 2018 here at Bonfal National High School.

put as we will proceed with handing out the certificate of recognition for your time and service dedicated to
Bonfal National High School, and for that may I call on Dr. Lourdes P. Abansi to be assisted by Dr. Tan, our
Head Teacher III, Mrs. Ferrer, our Master Teacher I, Subject Groups Heads and our representatives from the
SGC and GPTA to award the said certificate.

It is said that the quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to his or her commitment to excellence
regardless of the chosen field of endeavor. Ladies and gentlemen, let us recognize those students’ ordinary
things extraordinary well.

May I now request our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Flordeliza C. Gecobe who is represented by
________________ and our School Head, Dr. Lourdes P. Abansi to award the medals and certificates to our
deserving students. May I also request our Head teacher and subject group heads to assist them in the

Kim Cyrille A. Fernandez is also awarded for the following achievements: Outstanding Performance in
Science, Mathematics, and Research and Innovation and for having a perfect attendance during school year
2018-2019. She will also be awarded with the St. Mary’s University Gold Medal of Excellence, the Pandayan
Bookshop Award for Excellence, the King’s College Medal and the Our Lady of Fatima University Gold Medal
for Excellence. She is also the recipient of the Philippine Senate Gold Medal for Academic Excellence.

Angela Mae Calventas is also awarded for her outstanding performance in Communication Arts.

Delilah P. De Guzman is also awarded for her outstanding performance in Work Immersion.

Anjel Faye Ganit is also awarded for having a perfect attendance for this school year and being one of the
conduct awardees.

Clarissa Lyn A. Mamuric is also awarded for her perfect attendance for the school year.

Claren Kate G. Martin is also one of the conduct awardees of the class of 2019.

Marian Faye A. Pua is also awarded for her outstanding performance in Research and Innovation. Ms. Pua
will also be awarded with the St. Mary’s University Bronze Medal of Excellence and Our Lady of Fatima
University Bronze Medal of Excellence.

Lhyca Ann A. Sibal is also bestowed with the Leadership Award for this School Year. She is also awarded for
her outstanding performance in Communication Arts and Social Sciences and for her perfect attendance for
the school year. Ms. Sibal will also be awarded the St. Mary’s University Silver Medal of Excellence and Our
Lady of Fatima University Silver Medal of Excellence. For being this year’s president, she will also be
receiving the Award for Organization Achievement for the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization.

May we also award the following students for their outstanding performances in the following disciplines:

The best way to boast the institution’s pride of how it has molded its students, is no other than hearing it
from the direct product of this learning institution. To tell us more about our guest speaker for today, may I
call on Mrs. Evangeline P. Lumase, Teacher III.

Thank you Mr. Engaran for that meaningful and insightful speech and for that, may I request you to be on
the center stage to receive the Certificate of Recognition to be handed out by Dr. Lourdes P. Abansi to be
assisted by Dr. Tan, our Head Teacher III, Mrs. Ferrer, our Master Teacher I, Subject Groups Heads and our
representatives from the SGC and GPTA.

[Giving of Diplomas]
Dear graduates the moment you have been waiting for has finally come. The fruit of hard work and discipline
will finally be reaped. You will now be receiving your prized diploma, a symbol of accomplishment.

May I request Dr. Lourdes P. Abansi, our School Principal, Mr. Edward M. Santiago, our Public Schools District
Supervisor, Dr. Perlita J. Tan, our Head Teacher and Senior High School Subject Group Heads to assist Dr.
Flordeliza C. Gecobe in handing out the diplomas to our graduates. At this point, may I request our honored
guests Mr. Mark Jospeh Engaran, Hon. Ronald Allan Barnacha, Hon. Cristina T. Sampaga, Hon. Joseph Ramos,
Hon. Segundino Ferrer and Mr. Jude M. Depalog to join Dr. Gecobe in congratulating our graduates. May I

also request the members of the faculty to line up before stage ramp to personally congratulate the
graduates after they’ve received their respective diplomas.

that emphasizes that the strength amidst challenges, let us hear the graduates sing “A Million Dreams” with

To formally close today’s event, may I call on the GPTA President for School Year 2018-19, he is no other
than Mr. Jude M. Depalog.

Special Announcement….

The closing hour has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities await our graduates that
will further test their mettle as improving individuals. As they continue with their journey, may they look
back to this stage in their life with fondness and pride. Ladies and gentlemen, this concludes the second K to
12 Exercises of Bonfal National High School. This has been Ma. Julie Anne C. Gajes, thank you for coming.
