Introduction:

This document is a report for the individual project Implementation of a new network infrastructure
for public transport system. The project is an attempt to design and create a complete network that
supports cloud and artificial intelligence in transport network. Leading transport system like Hong
Kong transport system, public transport system of Singapore and many more are already harnessing
artificial intelligence and machine learning to inform and fine-tune core strategies, such as
warehouse locations, as well as to enhance real-time decision making related to issues like
availability, costs, inventories, carriers, vehicles and personnel. The project is targeted to add new
system that includes a Data Hub to consolidate real-time Internet of Things (IoT) sensor datasets;
scalable, real-time traffic modelling and forecasting; an incident response Decision Support System
informed by data and models; and coordinated, real-time control of signals, ramp meters, and
detour signs.

There are several challenges that are persistent throughout the transportation industry and that
have plagued this sector ever since its inception. Among them are safety, reliability and efficiently,
with pollution more recently becoming an increasingly important aspect of transportation requiring
attention. The project tries to mitigate all the drawbacks afterwards implementation of project.

The project took place in three phases – the design phase, the construction phase, and the
implementation phase. The design phase included initial brainstorming of ways to improve Cisco
Contact Center demonstrations. The construction phase included coding of demos to be critiqued by
sales representatives and improved with each new prototype release. The implementation phase
included meshing the final prototype deliverable with Cisco‘s current Contact Center demo resource
