Many people prefer to use public transportation while others say that personal cars are the
best mode of transportation. Excessive use of private cars is considered to be the main
reason for the traffic jam in many cities and that's why the use of public transportation is
encouraged.

In your opinion what are the pros and cons of using public transport?

In my opinion, the benefits of public transportation is very significant. We can reduce the
amount of carbon dioxide and help to promote the clean air. If more people take bus that
means fewer cars on the road, and the result is no more traffic jam. You can commute
quickly and have time to do relax. By using buses, you are not worried about drive your
car, just get on a bus, take a nap and when you wake up you are in house.

But why many people still prefer use their personal cars without using public
transportation. Here is some main reasons. Firstly, you have to waste many time because
the timetable is fixed. It means if you are miss a bus, you will wait until the next one.
Besides, the speed limit is slow and have many stop station also make your time wastefully.
Secondly, some vehicles have the comfort is not good. For example, when you get on a bus
and the seat is full and you have to stand all your trip. It is not safe for woman and
children, especially disabled people . Worse, the seat can be old, dirty; air-conditioner is
not working.

I think if the public transportation can improve their disadvantages, it will be a best choice.
