CHAPTER I
BACKGROUD OF RESEARCH
English is the language that makes the world go round. The world of
business does not exclude the use of English because it is conducted on a global
scale. The beginning of the 21st century is a time for global transition. According
to some experts, faster economic globalization is going hand in hand with the
growing use of English. English has become a tool for internasional
communication in transportation, commerce, banking, tourism, process of
technology, and scientific research. It is formally thought students of elementary
school, junior and senior high school, and even to university.
Here we will learn about conversations in business and use language that
is indeed very decent and polite to use in business. Talk between two or more
people in which thoughts, feelings, and ideasare expressed, questions are asked
and answered, or news and information is exchanged. We interview some people
and we can know their ability in english especially of business.

CHAPTER II
REVIEW LITERATURE
First, in terms of rationale for this study, a basic tenet of adult learning is
that interaction of some sort is needed, either with peers, the materials, the
professor, or the learning environment itself. In the English learning, writing is
one of thelanguage skills in which thelearners should master. In this part, here is a
discussion on the nature of writing, writinga foreign language, English in
Vocational High School, writing inVocational High School, and teacher’s roles in
teaching writing. Student knowledge sharing and conversation theory interactions
were coded from asynchronous discussion forums to measure the effect of
learning-oriented utterances on academic performance
After we have spent some time thingking about our topic and doing the
necessary prewriting, we are ready for the next step in the writing process. When
we write the first draft of our conversation, use the ideas we generated from
prewriting as a guide. As you write, remember to:
5
3. Stick to the topic
4. Arrange the sentences of your conversation so that the order of ideas makes
sense.
In this mini research will discuss more about conversations between two
or more people and discuss business. Other researchers, namely Baker, Jensen,
and Kolb (2002), leveraged knowledge sharing and conversation theory in
experiential learning, suggesting a shared meaning can be obtained by students
through the “interplay of tacit and explicit dimensions of knowledge” (p. 4). In
their extension to experiential learning theory, they claimed tacit knowledge and
deep understanding can be effectively learned through conversational dialogue :
“we must both hear and listen” (Baker et al., p. 5). In experiential learning, the
conversational space is opened to the extent that students develop the ability to
perform both activities (speaking and listening interactions),using the tension
between epistemological discourse and ontological recourse to drive the dialogue
forward (Baker et al.).

CHAPTER V
CLOSING
A. Conclusion
We found that people's ability to write conversations in business is still
not very good or can said to be enough. They still use some commonly used
words in English. Some people also write conversations in the wrong grammer
so there are some sentences that are not connected and confusing to
understood.
Every human has different ability and that is not the mistakes of them. In
this country so important to use the english espesially in business. We need to
fix our english in business in order to have a great english and have a great
career in the future.
B. Suggestion
Actually, we should use english language in our daily lives to practice
our abilities and gain a lot of knowladge in english vocabulary. We can have a
good conversation and write the conversation in accordance with the rules of
the existing english.
