Displays a highly developed understanding of notation and score techniques.

Demonstrates a highly developed understanding of the concepts of music and the ways in which they have manipulated them
in their composition through analysis and evaluation
Demonstrates an abilty to perceptvely analyse a variety of istening stimulscores with reference to the concepts of music and
how other composers a have manipulated them
Evaluates objectively the composition work and discusses ways in which improvements can be made

Submit your composition portfolio reflecting ongoing work towards the completion of the HSC Elective Composition. The portfolio
should include a final draft ofthe Elective Composition as well as draft scores, musicological research, ongoing evaluation and
background listening,
