In 2014 I had the opportunity to travel to Europe, I was excited because I had never
been there before but I was worried too because I had started my internships and I
was taking a subject of the university yet so I had to ask for permission at work and
at university, it was difficult, I had to leave for a long time, but I achieved to resolve.
Everything started when I decided to belong to a research group of my University,
we had successful results for our research about the citric acid and others nerd
things, my director applied for us for a scholarship in Germany to for show them in
different universities and we won it, we had to stay for around 2 months.
When I arrived at the airport, I was confused, I had never traveled to abroad, so I
didn’t understand any process, the check in, register baggage luggage, migration. I
traveled with fellows just fellows, we weren’t friends so we each took over our own
issues without support of others. Honestly, I wasn’t ready for that trip, like I said
before, I worked and studied at the same time I wasn’t able to inform myself about
the countries, their culture and the best places to visit before travel.
We started with Germany, it was amazing, there I went to 9 cities, Berlin, Dortmund,
Köln, Dresde, Frankfurt, its civic culture is dreamed. France, with its romantic city
Paris, also I visited Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Czech Republic and although I was in
many cities and incredible places like the Eiffel Tower, Sistine Chapel, Venice, Roma
Colosseum, I didn’t take many pics because mi cellphone didn’t work well and I
hadn´t had a lot of time to for borrow a camera, I have 20 pics at most, I know that
my fellow travelers took many pics and I have been asking for them but it has been
difficult, from laziness or envy, I suppose , I have been a bit disappointed because
the trip was a amazing chance above all because it was FREE!!!. Even though I don’t
have great pics and videos I have the best memories in these countries, the taste of
the meals, the wonders of its landscapes and its impressive culture and history. I
have planned to travel again and have asked for prices of package holiday, but I
prefer independent travel I enjoy planning my trips. I have been checking everything
necessary to have an unforgettable trip, not only for my memories but for the good
pics that I will take.
