RE: Osvaldo Santiago

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter of recommendation is for Osvaldo Santiago, a marvelous and overall well-rounded young man
who I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for the last year. Mr. Santiago has been a student in my senior English
class, where I have come to know him as a humble and respectful student.

As a student at Merced High School, Mr. Santiago was a particiant in Gateway Scholars for his entire four
years. Osvaldo was a member of the cross country team ​and​ the track and field team during his middle
school years. Personality wise, he is motivated, dedicated, determined, and a people-person. Mr. Santiago’s
dedication is show in his grades, as he averaged B’s in his classes. His determination is also evident in his
achievement of being accepted to Sacramento State. His hopes are to graduate from college and obtain a
degree, which I have no doubt he will achieve. Osvaldo is a young man who I am sure will accomplish great
things in his near future and distant future.
