Book Title: The Five Sense

Author: Keith Faulkner

Story Summary
This book is about the five senses. It talks about how an aardvark can
hear every sound, even the sound of ants moving. Then it explains the
sense ‘taste’ by describing the love a bear has for honey. For touch, it

Story Review
● I will review the book with the kids by asking them follow up
questions. This book is perfect because it goes well for jungle
week, but it is also teaching the kids about our five senses. To
know if they are listening or not, I will point to stuff during the
book or pull things out of the book and see their expressions.
After I finish reading, I will ask them follow up questions to
make sure they had fun and also learned new things.
