    LIGHTING

    1. BUILDING AREAS

    Refer to the Ground Floor Building Layout and Mezzanine Floor Building Layout for a list of the areas which make up
    the factory and their descriptions.
    2. SPECIFICATIONS - GENERAL

    Refer to the Unilever Civil and Structural Design Standard and the Unilever Architectural Finishes Standard for the
    minimum specifications.
    All national and local regulations must be met.
    Where contradictions exist between the requirements listed below and the requirements of the Unilever Civil and
    Structural Design Standard, the Unilever Architectural Finishes Standard or national and local regulations the
    requirements listed below shall give way.
    3. MINIMUM LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS

    The following minimum lighting requirements apply:

    AREA LUX
    A (administration) As per regulations
    S1 (Savoury raw materials and packing
    materials warehouse)
    S3 (Savoury finished goods warehouse)
    P1 (Personal care raw materials and
    packing materials warehouse)
    P3 (Personal care finished goods
    warehouse)
    H1 (Home care raw materials and
    packing materials warehouse)
    H3 (Home care finished goods
    warehouse)
    W (Stores)
    S2 (Savoury process and packing)
    P2 (Personal care process and packing) 500
    H2 (Home care process and packing)
