Answer: For me Pilipino Star Ngayon is a decent newspaper for the masses. Based on our
readers. It’s rich with Intelligent content, Facts that separate us from typical tabloid across
the country.

2. In Pilipino Star Ngayon organizational structure, what or where are your designation and
basically the nature of your position? Kindly explain and narrate your professional
affiliations and promotions.
Answer: As a reporter my job / our job is to broadcast news analysts’ correspondents,
Inform the local, national, and international public about events or news that is currently
happening.

3. What is your role in preparing for the planning stage of the news to be sent to the public?
Kindly describe your participation.
Answer: As a journalist, I spend a lot of time on the field. Meeting contacts, investigating
stories, and conducting interviews so we can write or record a story. Before we distribute
it or publish.

4. What is your role in preparing for the production stage of the news to be sent to the
public?
Answer: The work is often fast paced to meet deadlines or be the first to break news.
So aside from the traditional work around interviews, we also utilize tools such as audio
recording, smart phones and send data real-time for review, so we can publish it in no
time.

5. What is your role in preparing for the distribution stage of the news to be sent in the
public?
Answer: Our main objective is making information available to the general public guided
by facts, News that will benefit to all. Content that can help enriched or enlightened the
Filipino’s. And most importantly tells the public what’s happening in our nation in
general.

In your perspective, how does the newspaper remain a powerful medium in the Digital
era? Specifically, Pilipino Star Ngayon?

Answer: Based on my personal observation. Many of us still preferred reading the

newspaper, even in this digital era. Simply because many people believe that our content
is culturally sensitive, environmentally friendly and community-oriented medium. They
also believe in its authenticity as it is recordable, reproducible. So, with that being said.
The newspaper remains on its stands on providing information and news to the public.
