find that special someone who
makes us happy, smile, protected,
or supported – all we want to do is
put a ring on it. Sometimes people
marry for more questionable
reasons, such as money or fame.

Here are some celebrities who have

found each other and settled down
together – despite an
unconventional age gap between
them. Whether itʼs grabbing a bite
in their local restaurant or strutting
down the red carpet, these couples
sure know how to make an
impression!

Rupert Murdoch and Jerry

Hall: 25 Years

The media couple that everyone

loves to hate: Rupert Murdoch and
Jerry Hall. Hall previously had
married Mick Jagger before their
divorce in 1999, with who she
shared four children. At 84, Rupert
Murdoch also has had children
from previous marriages. These
two married in 2016 when Murdoch
turned 82.

The wedding was controversial due

to the age gap between the two of
them and the fact that the groom
was over 80. Media mogul Rupert
Murdoch has drawn irk from some
due to his control over American
and British media.

Julius Tennon and Viola

Davis: 12 Years

Viola Davis married Julius Tennon

in 2003 and are bound by a 13-year
age gap between the two of them.
They met on the set of City of
Angels and have been happily
together ever since. Tennon had
two children from past
relationships and the couple jointly
adopted a daughter in 2011.

Genesis is seven years old and

completes the happy family despite
wide age gaps. Together, they
founded a production company
called JuVee Productions as
insurance against their acting
careers. We donʼt think they have a
problem!

Celine Dion and René

Angélil: 26 Years

Celine Dion met her husband, René

Angélil, when she was 12 years old
and he was 38. They began as
professionals – he was her
manager – and their relationship
was kept a secret until 1991.

He was such a fan of her talent that

he mortgaged his own home to
fund her first album. The two
remained happily married until his
passing in 2016. The couple had a
set of twins, Eddy and Nelson, and

Adam Levine and Behati

Prinsloo: 10 Years

Leading man of Maroon 5, Adam

Levine, was a bachelor for much of
his life before finally settling down
with Behati Prinsloo – who is 10
years his junior. They met in the
summer of 2012 and finally tied the
knot in 2014 in Mexico. Things
moved quickly for the power-duo:
they had two children in 2016 and
2018.

bachelor to father of two! Their 10
year age gap doesnʼt mean they
donʼt support each other, and even
have a shared savings account for
the growing family.

Hugh Jackman and

Deborra Lee-Furness: 13
Years

These two are a rare couple where

the man is actually younger than
the woman! This X-Men star met
and married Deborra Lee-Furness
in 1995 on the set of Correlli and
have been happily married since.

The following year, the two adopted

children – Oscar and Eva – and
remain stronger than ever to this
day. According to Jackman, he is
still the ‘adultʼ in the relationship,
despite being 13 years younger
than his loving wife!

Bruce Willis and Emma

Heming: 23 Years

Die Hard actor Bruce Willis married

his model wife Emma Hemin in
2009, in front of ex-wife Demi
Moore and her then-husband
Ashton Kutcher. According to Willis,
he noticed her in Gunnar
Petersonʼs gym in Los Angeles, and
the two quickly fell in love.

daughters, Evelyn Penn and Mabel
Ray, who they treat with trips to
Disneyland – something Willis
hasnʼt done for a few years!

Jay-Z and Beyoncé: 12

Years

This massive power couple met all

Ellen DeGeneres and

Portia de Rossi: 15 Years

These two started dating way back

despite their 15-year age gap.

Flockhart: 22 Years
