ROCKING THE VEHICLE

If it is necessary to rock the vehicle to free
it from snow, sand or mud, move the gear
lever on manual transmission/auto clutch
models from first to reverse gear in a re-
peat pattern while depressing the accelera-
tor gently.
Do not race the engine. If you are still stuck
after a minute or two of rocking, have the
vehicle pulled out to avoid overheating and
possible damage to the transmission.

WARNING
Tyres can explode, and you or oth-
ers could be injured. Driveline com-
ponents could be damaged.
• Do not let your tyres spin at high
speed.

CAUTION
The vehicle could get stuck in snow,
sand or mud, and racing the engine
in those conditions can damage the
driveline components.
• Do not spin front wheels.
• Tow the vehicle out.
