Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations in conjunction with Branch Office
and S&W Head Office Procurement structures;
Plan and track the shipment of incoming materials according to project
requirements;
Supervise orders and arrange stocking of materials, supplies and equipment to
ensure they meet project delivery requirements;
Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals
and mutual satisfaction;
Keep logs and records of construction materials stock and deliveries to site;
Ensure accurate goods receiving inspections are carried out to compare goods
delivered are in accordance with the product specifications in the purchase
agreements;
Prepare accurate reports for the management team;
Ensure site stores controller manages site stock in accordance with company
standards keeping accurate records of inspections, receipts and issues
Define an approved consolidated purchasing plan for projects
Optimize purchasing and delivery costs by managing site specific supply chain
requirements and consolidate demands on supply base;
Monitor delivery performance of suppliers against purchasing plan;
Establish mitigation actions for behind schedule or at risk deliveries and
implement with site teams;
Responsible for all non-stock item purchases for all project teams;
Manage costs within budgetary limits;
Actively create risk free opportunities to reduce costs and expenditure.
Co-ordinate for in bound material for timely and safe delivery at site
Ensure and maintain effective vendor relationship to get the best deals for the

organization.
Increase use of lower-cost logistics and distribution channels
Send requisition to H.O. procurement in time for material to be procured from
H.O. and monitor the delivery status.
Install a system of inspection to ensure that materials received are as per
specifications.
Ensure proper preservations of all materials inside stores and in yard stores to
eliminate damage, pilferage, theft etc.
Ensure no stock discrepancy between physical and computer stock by ensuring
right documentation, physical and perpetual inventory verification as required at
regular intervals.
Raise disposal action request at H.O. in time and ensure disposal as per advice
of H.O.
Provide required inputs and documents to Contract Dept for Claim preparations
Monitor performance of vendors vis-à-vis contract SLAs viz. cost, timeline, quality
etc
