IMPORTANCE OF SOFT SKILLS ON SCHOOL STUDENTS IN SAGAR

The education as well as the market scenario is changing very fast. A decade ago, those students who
had a brilliant academic record with added work experience were well sought after by most of the
corporate institution but today hard skills and experience are not sufficient as SOFT SKILLS own the
different and important place. SOFT SKILLS play an important role in the development of the student's
overall personality, thereby enhancing their career prospects. SOFT SKILLS make up that, how students
encompassing their attitudes, habits and how they interact with each other. Students social, physical
and emotional needs must be met in order to optimize learning, just they need advanced
communication to face the competition. The main purpose to this study was to “find the importance of
soft skills on school students”. It's found that majority of the respondents felt that soft skills are very
useful for social interaction as well as for career advancement.
