Sub: “Purchase Order for PEB work” for Construction of Industrial Shed for MEPL,
Ranjangaon, Dist. Pune
We refer to the above correspondences and our subsequent discussions, and are pleased
to place our work order for PEB fabrication work in the subject site on a subcontract
based on the following terms and conditions.

PEB Fabrication works
1. Terms of Payment – Part payment of the order value shall be released within 10 days
against work progress & balance payment will be released by fulfilment of all work
order obligations & submission of the following documents:
I] Invoice
II] Measurement’s
Note – The complete work order number must be clearly mentioned in all invoices & other
correspondence.
2. The quantity mentioned in the WO is approximate, actual quantity may vary & payment
will be made on the basis of actual measurements. Work should be done as per
instructions & schedule given by project Incharge only.
3. Actual quantity of work will be accepted only after reconciliation statement & quantity
accepted by the client & work executed at site whichever is lower.
5. Work order number must be mentioned on every challans, bills & other correspondence.
6. Suspension of work - The Contractor shall, on receipt of the order in writing of the
Project Manager, suspend the progress of the works or any part thereof for such
7. Pricing of additional / deviated work - Each new rate or price shall be derived from any
relevant rates or prices in the Contract, with reasonable adjustments. If no rates or prices
are relevant for the derivation of a new rate or price, it shall be derived from the
reasonable cost of executing the work, together with reasonable profit, taking account of
any other relevant matters.
Until such time as an appropriate rate or price is agreed or determined, the Project
Manager shall determine a provisional rate or price for the purposes of Interim
Payment Certificates.
8. Laboratory & Field Test - The contractor shall follow all the procedures required and
laid down by Employer, to the satisfaction of Employers project In-charge and are
binding on the contractor. All the required testing from internal or external
laboratory as per the frequencies stages are to be carried out at the Contractor’s
cost to the satisfaction of Employer and as per the procedure laid by Employer.
9. All statutory requirements like labor license, PF, ESI, Insurance policies of men &
machinery shall be in your scope.
10. The Permissible limit for scrap material is 3% of total working material out of which
1% is considered as un-accountable losses & 2% will be reimbursed after
completion of work.
13. Completion Time - Time of Completion of the works is the essence of the contract and
contractor shall strictly follow and adhere to the completion schedule as specified.

the age of 18.
c) The Contractor shall pay to labourers employed by him wages not less than the
wages as defined in the Minimum Wages Act or Contract Labour (Regulation &
Abolition) Act as applicable or as per Fair Wages whichever is more.
d) The contractors comply and observe all labour Laws to the extent the same are
applicable to him/ employees employed by him.
e) Contractor’s rates are inclusive of ESI, PF, labour cess and all other statutory
requirements as per labour laws. Contractor to ensure full compliance with the
rules which shall include deduction of employees' share from wages and also
contributing contractor's share for ESI & PF, labour cess both as applicable.
g) ESI/PF , labour cess statutory requirements shall be fulfilled in total with our
Administration Department prior to release of Final Bill
h) Contractor to submit all the documents, proof of payments made to Govt. bodies
related to ESI, PF, labour cess & any other statutory requirement along with
each month RA bills or as & when asked by SCIL.
