Welcome to Practicemock
I will also share my strategy for prelims, if it helps anyone, as this strategy enabled me
to score 63 marks in SBI 2016
For better time management, i attempted maths first, followed by reasoning and at
the end english.
This is because, maths and reasoning have higher accuracy rate, if you attempt 40
ques combined, you should be getting 35+ correct in both of them.
Now, for english, ensure you have 10 mins left, which is enough for english. Attempt
the vocab part in RC, dont even read the comprehension, attempt the fillers, attempt
sentence correction, error finding, synonyms, antonyms only. But be careful of
accuracy. Dont try and guess the answers.

to understand most of the concepts, now also keeping in mind that this should
not effect their self studying which is nearly impossible as studying in tuition

SBI PO is one of the most difficult yet prestigious banking exams to crack. With a
legacy of more than 200 years, SBI is considered as the pioneer of the banking
industry in India. To work with SBI you need to crack the SBI PO with a focused
preparation strategy. Having said that, salary, perks, and allowances associated with
the SBI PO job apart from the prestige and social recognition will make the SBI PO

Books have been the traditional means for building a solid foundation for competitive
exam preparation. These are the recommended books for the written exams:
Quantitative Aptitude tests are fast becoming the norm for competitive exams in
India. The aptitude questions essentially measure a candidate’s mental numerical
ability, logical formula application and accuracy of calculations. If you haven’t grown
up liking math, quantitative aptitude sections of exams may be nerve-wracking for
you at the start. However, with sufficient test practice, it is very much possible to

crack them.
Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation are a form of psychometric testing which
is widely used to assess the mental ability of potential candidates. These tests are
specifically designed to test your non-verbal skills.
General Knowledge and Current Affairs is the one topic that universally exists in
almost all important competitive exams as an independent section. Keeping yourself
updated with current happenings is of great significance as it shows your thirst to
know about the happenings of the world at large. There is a misunderstanding among
students that this section is all about rote learning and it is relatively useless in the
future. However, it tests not only your memory but also the ability to connect facts
and link history to the present, understand why certain events are taking place, their
past influence and future implications.
So, I hope this will be helpful in your SBI PO exam journey and make you prepare well
to clear SBI PO Exam.
