JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary of Technician* Duty

Handling of GSM & Microwave antennas connection. Finding faulty

BTS(Base Transceiver Station) cards and replace. IF & RF Cable swapping.
Signal testing.

Explaining the responsibilities:

● To maintain a proper radio signal transmission from the GSM antenna,
jumper cable connectivity should be performed.

● Microwave, that repeats or completes the signal between the other antenna’s
should also be monitored for any alignment issues.

● Power Chords or Busses that carry signals in the BTS should be inspected for
faults and should be replaced

*For Technician job, training of 20 days is mandatory

Summary of Engineer Duty

Handling of BTS, GSM & Microwave antennas connection. Analyze
signals transmission and receiving from Antennas. Update / make work a BTS that
has been ceased to work. BTS Alarm monitoring & BTS commissioning.

Explaining the responsibilities:

● Preparing a report of calls handled by BTS using software in laptop

● Monitor of Transmission and Receiving signal strength

● Updating latest Software / Firmware of the BTS system using Laptop

● By using Site Master Tool, capturing the exact spot of faulty cables

● Prepare summary report of mobile signal strengths for particular area
