Instrumentation Measurements lap

Exp:1&2

Done by : AHMAD ALI ALDALIE

Experiment 1 : inverse square law
Aims :
To use light to prove that radiation ( light )
intensity is inversely proportional to distance
squared .
Procedure :
1- Adjust the light source to be directly normal
to the lux meter (0 degrees )
2- Change the distance of the lux meter every
time 0.05 m and state the records of the lux
meter
3- Fill the table and do our calculations.
Table :

Conclucion :
WE have proved that when we increase the distance
to twice, the Ev dropes to ¼ so the inverse square is
true 100% as we can see that the Ev is exponintialy
deacreasing .
Experiment 2 : cosine law
Aims :
 To show that radiation ( light ) intensity is
inversely proportional to the cosine of the angle
between the emitter and the receiver of the
radiation .
Procedure :
1- Adjust the lux meter to be directly from the light
source .
2- Change the degrees of the light source eqch
time by 10 degrees from -70 to 0 to 70 and state
the records each time
3- Fill the table

Conclucion :
We have proved that when we change the angel of
the light coming from the source to the lux meter ,
the illuminance decrease by cosQ and we have the
maximum Ev when Q=0 .
