BIOGRAPHY……

PHILIPPE STARCK started very early drawing tables of his airplane

building because of his father was an aeronautic engineer, born in 1949
in Paris.

He has a vision that every object has to be is own shape whatever it
takes. His mission is to make happier the largest number of people
possible.

He prefers to work on his own instead of a group of people.

BIOGRAPHY……

He is interested in bright color, quirky shapes and the use of unusual
materials.

He wants his designs to be mass-produced and relatively affordable

but on the other hand, he wants them to last.

His designs tend to look curvaceous and are smoothly textured.

They are very tactile and ‘stroke-able’. From the largest to the
smallest item, they have an aerodynamic appearance.
FASHION RULES TO USE IN HOME INTERIORS

We can say that Fashion

and Interior Design walk
side by side.

Fashion inspire the best

interior designers in the
world and their projects.

 to get a stylish and

fashion-approved room
decoration

5
STYLING IS EVERYTHING

6
In home interiors styling is also very
important.

 A beautiful room decoration isn’t only

about great furniture, it’s important to
combine it with accessories to get a more
stylish look on the space.

e.g, cushions, curtains, vases, sculptures

and flowers are some of the decorative
pieces use to accessorize the room.

A black and gold console like the

modern Burlesque Console by KOKET is a
great detail to add to living room décor.
STYLE FOR THE OCCASION

Just like in fashion, when decorating it

is important to have in mind the function
of the room.

A bedroom has as major function to be

the place where people sleep and relax.

-so it’s essential that the entire room

decoration is designed to that.

8
MIX AND MATCH

There are infinite possibilities

combine different patterns on the wall

covering and furniture or even

combine gold and silver tones in a room

decoration.

There are no limits when the goal is

to create perfect home interiors.

e.g, in a living room combination of

silver accent chair, like Drapesse Chair,
with a Yasmine Side Table in black and
gold creates an elegance.
9
STYLE HEAD TO TOE

When to create a room

decoration full of style we can’t
miss any detail.

From ceiling to the floor,

every space is an opportunity
for creative design.

Chandeliers and other

suspension lights can improve
the ceiling area, paintings and wall coverings,

The walls and rug will style up the floor.

10
DECOR WITH LUXURY BASICS

11
GIVE A PERSONAL TOUCH

It’s important that every

single room has a special
touch, something very
personal, so people can feel
welcoming at their home
interiors.

Flowers and paintings are

one of the best ways to
create a cozier room
decoration or a more stylish
look.

12
DON’T FORGET ABOUT WHAT INSPIRE YOU

It’s important to be surrounded by what

inspire you and, of course, this should be
applied also to home interiors.

It’s common to see the best interior

designers in the world style up the room
decoration with fashion books.

13
There are no limits in decorating.

So, dare to mix and break all the styling

rules.

a space full of classic architectural

details can be designed with furniture
with modern lines, like on this room design
with KOKET’s

Kelly Sofa,
Rêve Mirror,
Tears Cocktail Table and
Tresor Stool.

14
With these fashion rules creating stylish home interiors will become
easier.

The important is to always have in mind that comfort is essential, but

style is what can make people live happier.

STARCK’S PROFESSION

‘I create things with which I surround myself, and which

allow me to exist. When I stop producing, I will disappear.’

INTERIORS HOTELS
"The hotel I create are like a movie of which I am the director.
I imagine the coming and going of people, what they are going
to experience, what they will feel, I create stories borrowed
from love, humor, poetry, tenderness and art. " Ph.S
