The document provides instructions for manually overriding the Reed B-Series hydraulic system. It describes opening the flow control valve and pressing override buttons A or B to cycle the main hydraulic cylinders. It also explains how to pressurize the S-tube circuit by depressing both dump valve override buttons and then use override buttons A or B to shift the S-tube directional valve. A note mentions that easier manual override may involve eliminating electrical function by disconnecting coil plugs or removing a power fuse.

CLOCKWISE TO PROVIDE OIL FLOW TO DIRECTIONAL VALVE • DEPRESS OVERRIDE BUTTON “A” OR “B” TO SHIFT DIRECTIONAL VALVE AND CAUSE MAIN HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS TO CYCLE. REED B-SERIES MANUAL OVERRIDE INSTRUCTIONS- S-TUBE CIRCUIT
• DEPRESS AND HOLD BOTH DUMP VALVE
MANUAL OVERRIDE BUTTONS TO ALLOW S- TUBE CIRCUIT TO PRESSURIZE. • WITH CIRCUIT PRESSURIZED, DEPRESS OVERRIDE BUTTON “A” OR “B” TO SHIFT S- TUBE DIRECTIONAL VALVE
NOTE: DURING NORMAL OPERATION ONE OF
THE TWO COILS WILL REMAIN ENERGIZED. DEPENDING ON SCOPE OF ELECTRICAL FAILURE, MANUAL OVERRIDE MAY BE EASIER IF ELECTRICAL FUNCTION IS ELIMINATED, I.E. DISCONNECT BOTH COIL PLUGS OR REMOVE THE FUSE THAT POWERS THE COILS.
