Autumn Spice Milk Carton

Designed By: Jacque Craig

October 2010
I love the little mini milk cartons that can be made with the Mini Milk Carton bigz L die, but sometimes I wish
it was a little bit bigger, so I designed one! This one holds more goodies and can be adapted to any theme,
birthdays, Easter, Christmas, etc.!

Instructions

Step 1
Take an 8-1/2” x 9” piece of Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) and score on the long side at
2-1/8”, 4-1/4”, 6-3/8”, and 8-1/2”. Turn 90º clock wise and score at 2-1/8”, 6-3/8”, and 8”.

Step 3
Using a pencil, ruler and Bone Folder, mark the 1-1/16 point at the top of each section. Starting in the left
section, draw a straight line down to the right corner score line. In the second section draw a straight line down
to the first score mark, and from there draw down two lines to either corner of that section. In the third section,
draw a straight line down to the left corner score line. In the last section, draw a straight line down to the first
score mark, and from there draw down two lines to either corner of that section.

Step 3

Step 4
Using a ruler and a Bone Folder, score all of your pencil lines. Once scored, you can erase the pencil lines if
you’d like. Fold on all score lines.

Step 5
Turn DSP over and using Sticky Strip, adhere sides and bottom together to form carton. Note: Always make
the front flap on the bottom, the last one adhered, as then you will have a smooth front.

Step 5

Step 6
To close the top of the milk carton, use Sticky Strip and adhere to the back, inside piece of the carton. Pinch the
back together. Next put a piece of Sticky Strip in between the two back sides and again pinch closed.

Step 7
To make the belly band, take a 2” x 9-1/4” piece of DSP and using the Scallop Trim Border punch, punch along
both long sides. Using SNAIL adhesive, adhere a 1-1/4” x 9-1/4” piece of Cajun Craze card stock. Score both
pieces at 2-3/16”, 4-3/8”, 6-9/16”, and 8-3/4”. Fold on score lines and using Sticky Strip, adhere to milk carton.

Step 7

Step 8
Using Cajun Craze and Old Olive Stampin’ Write Markers, color Gratitude… image from the Day of Gratitude
stamp set. Stamp image on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Using the Decorative Label Extra-Large
punch, punch out image and adhere to front of milk carton using Stampin’ Dimensionals!
