Steps to follow to Install Project Server 2010

Windows Server 2008 R2 [x64]

Update Windows full [its Mandatory ]

Get Domain User in System with Administrator Privilege

Note: Use Domain User only to install all software

Install Dot.Net Framework 3.5 (dotnetfx35 with Sp1)

Activate IIS services
Install SQL Server 2008 R2
[Instance root directory should be in D:/ drive (ask to client for database storage drive)]

Install HOTFIXs for SharePoint 2010 [Optional]

1. FilterPack
2. MicrosoftGenevaFramework.amd64
3. MSChart

Install Prerequisites for SharePoint 2010

Install SharePoint 2010 Binary (uncheck Configuration wizard)
Install Project Server 2010 Prerequisites
Install Project Server 2010 Binary (Run Configuration wizard)

Run Configuration wizard on Central Admin site

Create PWA Site

Bingo…!

6. Microsoft Chart Controls for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
7. Microsoft Filter Pack 2.0
8. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services ADOMD.NET
9. Microsoft Server Speech Platform Runtime (x64)
10. Microsoft Server Speech Recognition Language - TELE(en-US)
11. SQL 2008 R2 Reporting Services SharePoint 2010 Add-in
