POSTER MAKING AND DOODLE ART CONTEST

Contest Mechanics: Final Round
1. The contest is open to all High School students of Sauyo High School Quezon City Grade 7-10.
2. Each participant should submit ONE entry only.
3. The poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme of the ESP/FILIPINO VALUES MONTH, “MAPANURING
PAGGAMIT NG GADYET: Tungo sa Mapagkalingang Ugnayan sa Pamilya at Kapwa”
4. The following materials will be used in the contest:
A. 1/8 (one-eight) illustration board (white background & vertical format) and a pencil (to be provided by the contestant)
B. For Poster Making: Coloring material: oil pastel cray pas, markers, ink, mixed media, oil, acrylic and watercolor
(to be provided by the contestant)
C. For Doodle Art: The master piece should be in black and white only.
*Use of other materials not specified above is strictly prohibited.
5. The Poster and Doodle Art shall be judged based on the following criteria:

Relevance to the theme -------- 40%

Clarity of message -------------- 20%
Creativity -------------------------15%
Originality ----------------------- 15%
Impact & Presentation --------- 10%
Total-------------------------------100%
6. Entries must be submitted after THREE HOURS of working and it must be done in free hand.
7. All finished outputs must be submitted to:
For Poster: Mary Rose Hael or Jay Ann Almorin
For Doodle Art: Dr. Marites Mascarińas or Michael Agang
8.The artist will be held accountable to any issues that may arise with regards to the originality and authenticity of the design.
9.Three winners will be chosen by the Board of Judges, First Place, Second Place and Third Place. All the finalists will receive
Certificates of Recognition.
10.The winning poster will automatically become official property of the Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao Department and may be
use for the purpose of such.
SLOGAN MAKING CONTEST

Contest Mechanics: Final Round
1. The contest is open to all High School students of Sauyo High School Quezon City
Grade 7-10.
2. Each participant should submit ONE entry only.
3. Materials to be used in slogan making contest are the following: 1/8 (one-eight) illustration board, pentel pen, pencil and ruler
and any black ink pen o writing material.
4. The slogan shall be written in Filipino and the number of words shall not be more than 15 words and minimum of 10 words
and should revolve on the ESP/Filipino Values Month Celebration theme: “MAPANURING PAGGAMIT NG GADYET: Tungo sa
Mapagkalingang Ugnayan sa Pamilya at Kapwa”. The output should be in “BLACK and WHITE FORMAT ONLY”.
5. The slogan shall be judged based on the following criteria:
Relevance to the theme -------- 40%
Clarity of message -------------- 20%
Creativity -------------------------15%
Originality ----------------------- 15%
Impact & Presentation --------- 10%
Total--------------------------100%
