This photo helped us understand the fear people in Charleston faced during Hurricane

Hugo. This hurricane was so powerful it could pick up boats at a marina. A boat at a

marina was on top of a person. This is a primary source because you have to be there to

take a picture. This gave us many perspectives of Hugo.

This interview gave us a peek at what it was like before, during, and after Hurricane

Hugo. It also told us about what people learned because of this natural disaster and why

you should take precautions seriously. This is a primary source because the mayor was

there to experience before, during, and after Hurricane Hugo. This gave us many

perspectives of Hurricane Hugo from emergency officials to the people.

was used to give an idea of the devastation/damage that was done in Myrtle Beach. This

was a primary source because it was videotape after Hugo which you would have had to

be there to record. This covered many perspectives because many people along the coast

had some damage done.
