We are saddened that this is our last month of school with your children, but we are

excited for them to move on to either another year of preschool or to kindergarten!

½ Day of School

This month students will learn to write the numbers 28 – 30 and learn the new number
• Thursday, June 13th
Students will continue writing their last names when signing in and learning how to
pronounce their last names. Please continue to work with your child at home on how Upcoming Events
to correctly pronounce his/her last name. Also, at home encourage your child to learn
his/her home address and phone number. Prior to students entering kindergarten, we Field Day:

We will continue to implement our new writing program called Writer’s Workshop
while continuing to follow the HighScope Curriculum. We will continue to modify it
to meet our student’s needs. Right now, students are learning how they can create
different forms of writing (lists, personal narrative, fantasies, etc.)

We will be participating in field day. It will be taking place on Monday, June 10th
during the school day. More information will be sent home as the day comes closer.
