Dear Parents/Guardians,

It is our last week of school! Wow this year

sure did fly by. It has been an honor getting to
know each one of your children. We will miss
them so much next year, but are excited for
them to be attending kindergarten or another
year of preschool! We have some reminders for
you for the week. Please read them all.

• First, Monday, June 10th is a full day of school. Students get out at their
regular time, which is 3:42p.m. Tuesday, June 11th, Wednesday, June 12th,
and Thursday, June 13th are half days of school. Students will be getting
out at 12:22p.m. Please let us know if your child will be attending C.A.R.E.
or not on those days. Make sure to have your child wear yellow!

• On Monday, June 10th we will be participating in field day. It will take place
during the school day at 1:15. Please be sure to have your child dress
accordingly, and to have your child wear sunscreen. Also, pack a water
bottle with your child’s name and date on it. We will not be participating in
the pizza party on this day, so make sure to pack your child a lunch or your
child may purchase lunch.

• Since Tuesday, June 11th, Wednesday, June 12th, and Thursday, June 13th
are half days, students do not have to bring a lunch to school unless they
are going to C.A.R.E. On these half days (except Thursday) we will be
having a morning snack and an afternoon snack, so please make sure that
you pack more than one.

• Your child’s rest time materials will go home on Monday, June 10th, since
that will be the last day that we have rest time. Your child’s extra clothing,
sunscreen, lotion, Chap Stick and schoolwork will be going home with your
child on Monday, June 10th, as well.

• Finally, Thursday, June 13th is our end of the year celebration! We are
having a picnic outside on the kindergarten playground from 11:30 until
12:22. With that being said, you only need to pack 1 snack for your child on
that day. Please make sure to bring a blanket to sit on, sunscreen,
cameras, and your own drinks. We will start with a welcoming, followed by
students singing some songs. Then we will take some pictures and hand
out certificates and portfolios. Then we will eat. We will be providing all of
you with pizza. Do not forget to bring in what you signed up for by
Wednesday, June 12th.
