As a  Deck Cadets I was involved in the preparations made prior to departure.
Also I was responsible for inspecting all lifesaving and safety equipment,
supervising the loading and storage of cargo. Apart of doing deck jobs I was
assisting to officer on the bridge during the navigation. I gained huge experience
in the navigation while sailing in Italy. I was a wheel man and i was a trust
person to captain. I was meeting and escorting the pilot on the bridge during
maneuvering and I was helping to bosun to prepare pilot ladder and
accommodation ladder.
