My name is Lizeth Herrera and I would like to apply for the job opening for a
forensic science technician. I would be an amazing candidate for the position since I
have the education background needed and experience in the field. I graduated from
Arizona State University where I had hands on experience in labs frequently. I found
this job posting online and I am applying because I know I will never get tired with
this career and will enjoy every aspect of the job.

My previous job experiences, skills and abilities will allow me to meet the company’s
needs. I am well trained to collect and test evidence from crime scenes as well as
having critical thinking skills in order to help solve a case by scientific evidence. I
have the correct amount of experience of the lab process as well as on the field. There
was a period of time where I did an internship where I was able to observe the day to
day process of a case. The job requires knowledge surrounding computers and
machines which I am experienced in as well.

It would be an honor being able to be apart of the department. It is clear that the
department has motivation of improving society and making the streets as safe as
possible. I would be perfect for the job because I wish to do the same. Any goals that
the department may have, I will be determined to help in any way possible.
