    Scenario--Pickering
    You’re the principal of a building and recently reviewed the building wide behavior
    procedures with your staff. The next day a teacher brings to your attention a social
    media post made by another teacher complaining about the procedures. The teacher
    articulates all steps of the procedure and explains why they disagree with each of the
    steps. The teacher provides an example of how these steps have not been effective in
    her classroom. At the end the teacher states these procedures lead to an unsafe
    environment for teachers and students.
