    1. You had to use several ICs just for simple functions
    2. now you can cut down the number of ICs by using just one kind of gate.
    3. NAND make the hardware more efficient because you not only reduce the cost per circuit but
    also save space.
    4. Yes because there is a part that with more pins would have made the efficient.
