Welcome the Students
1. Arrive early.

writing activity or word search game. This activity is easy, a comfortable way to start the day.

Each group will be given jumbled letter. As I say go, everyone should
participate to arrange and figure out the word. The word should be posted on the
board. The group, who will win, will get a prize.
C. Recall
Since this is going to be the first lesson for the schoo l year, simply ask the
students what they know about the Filipinos during the Pre-Colonial Period.
D. Lesson Proper
-Show paintings and with a partner ask the students to describe the kind of life
the Filipinos had during the Pre-Colonial Period.
-Ask the students to state their agreement or disagreement with the statements
below and have them justify their answers.

- Form a group with 5 members then choose one member who has a good acting prowess. The chosen
member shall act-out the word written on a sheet of paper which will be provided by the teacher while
the other members try to guess within one minute.
