Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) is proud to announce its third batch of skill
development course on ‘Financial Modeling and Algo Trading (FMAT)’ in association with BSE
Institute Ltd (BSEIL), an arm of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The course has been especially
designed to equip students with specialized skills needed to work with the ever increasing
challenges of the financial markets and develop them into holistically knowledgeable, skilled and
competent financial professionals.
The course would help develop competencies in vital areas of management and finance such as
risk management, valuation modeling, project finance, algo trading, financial statement modeling
and data mining amongst others.
A strong practical approach including case discussions, hands-on practice, and live (Algo) trading
using specialized software’s and research orientation are some of the key highlights of this course.
The College of Business Studies and BSE Institute both are known for their quality in house faculty
and contact resources from industry.
The college invites registrations and admissions from interested students for the batch of FMAT
2018.

Course Information

1. Eligibility:
a. Essential: Pursuing Graduation or Passed Class XII with minimum 60% marks.
b. Basic knowledge of Financial Management, Economics, and Statistics will be an
advantage.
2. Important Dates:
a. Admission Starts from: 24th July, 2018.
b. Date of Course Commencement: 26th August, 2018 (Sunday).
*Classes will be held during Weekends and on Gazetted Holidays as per a set schedule.
*Classes will be suspended during University Examinations.
* Algo Trading classes will be held during working days (Mon-Fri) due to live share market.
3. Course Duration: 160 Hours
a. 110 hours of classroom teaching (in SSCBS campus).
b. 50 hours of practical training and trading (at a BSEIL Partner location in Delhi/NCR).

4. Admission and Course Fee:

a. The application form can be downloaded from the college website
(“http://www.sscbs.du.ac.in/”).
b. The filled-up application form should be accompanied by Registration fees of ₹ 200
(Rupees Two Hundred Only) and Course fee ₹ 27,000 (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand
only) i.e Total fees ₹ 27,200 (Rupees Twenty Seven Thousand Two Hundred only) by
Credit Card/Debit Card/Cheque or Net Banking in the college “Shaheed Sukhdev
College of Business Studies”.
c. Candidates are required to Attach self-attested copy of supporting documents and get
the following document(s) verified from Mr. Deepak Patel in Computer Lab (Room No-
651) before depositing the course fee:
(a) Mark sheet of class XII / Graduation (In original or one self-attested photocopy)
(b) Identity card (Aadhar card/ Voter card / Pan Card / Driving License or any I card
issued by Govt.)
d. The filled-up application form and the Total fees are to be submitted at the Account
Office, SSCBS (Room No-10) in working days (Mon-Fri) before 3.00 pm.
e. Course fee is not-refundable under any circumstances.
f. Admission is on First Come First Serve basis (for 35 seats) in this course.
