TRAINING DESIGN FOR PARENTING

I. Background/ Rationale:

In our present situation, many Filipinos got married as early 18 years old. Among them
they did not finish high school and worst not even graduated in the elementary. Others with
college diploma, well equipped financially, God fearing, and highly respected in the society.
How much more to people with limited knowledge and those belong to the lower bracket of
the society. Every people are confronted with so many problems and issues which husband
and wife including their children are mostly affected. To lessen problems regarding couples,
it is high time to educate and practice sincerely our obligations as model in our own family.

II. Objectives:

1. Raise awareness of the participants (couples) of their roles and responsibilities in their own
family.
2. Improve relationship among husband, wife, and children.
3. Allow couples to apply the knowledge learned sincerely and act as models.

III. Methodologies:

The following methodologies would be employed:


Lecture: The resource persons would lecture on the roles and responsibilities and other
pertinent topics regarding parenting.

TRAINING DESIGN ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD

I. Background/ Rationale:

“Let the child an asset in our society”. The child like any other individual holds a vital role
to play in the environment he/she lives in. When treated equally important, respected and
loved, they would be our future treasure. However, it is just the other way around. Most of
them are being exploited whether physically, sexually and psychologically. Children are
abused and victims of violence. Indeed, with these problems visiting our children, it is proper
to get rid of this undesirable acts through information dissemination regarding their plight as
children. They will fully understand, appreciate and certainly aware of themselves. Improve
their life style and become aware of their internal and external environment.
Remarkably, after the training, every participants should work hand and hand to protect and
improve the situation of children through proper self care.

II. Training Objective:

It is the general aim of this endeavor to let the pupils be aware of their fundamental
rights.

III. Methodologies:

a. Lecture: Resource speakers would lecture on the rights of the child and other related
topics.
b. Film showing: View tapes on child cases.

I. Background/Rationale:

The need for computer literary is everybody’s concern in the world today. To comply with
the demands of the new millennium, one must posses knowledge and skills in basic
computer. Not exempted are teachers, young and old should exert efforts in order not to be
behind or ignorant of the fast innovations of high technology. Considering its important to
universal aspects, teachers must strongly agree that it hastens bulk of paper works. It helps
in the reproduction of instructional aids and other useful elements to improve teaching and
learning situations more challenging. Due to its multiple inputs which shall be gained in the
computer where participants later will explore, Lamut Elementary teachers earnestly willing
to undergo more training for efficient and effective in the manipulation of computer.

processing, excel, power point, and

TRAINING DESIGN FOR MATHEMATICS VI CLASS

I. Background/ Rationale:

Every school year in the month of March, the National Achievement Test for
Grade III and VI is administered throughout the elementary schools nationwide. The test is
designed primarely to determine the achievement performance of pupils and the school.
The training would concentrate more on the least learned skills based on the results of the
National Test in the past three(3) consecutively from school year 2007-2008, 2008-2009, and
2009-2010, see attached.

II. Objectives:
The overall aim of this endeavor is to improve the achievement performance of the Grade
VI pupils in Mathematics particularly in the National Achievement Test (NAT).

III. Methodologies:
The approached would be mainly on lecture focused on the different competencies in
Mathematics based from the National Test in 2007 to 2010. The least learned skills shall be
taught first followed by the other competencies . The speakers shall employ different
techniques and styles of teaching to make the class enjoyable and interesting to the pupils.
There will be Pre-Test and Post Test to be conducted. An evaluation in terms of paper and
pencil test. If given the chance, an educational tour to school where pupils could posively
gain additional inputs and skills in mathematics.

The participants are the Grade VI pupils, sixteen(16) boys and eight (8) girls with a total of

Venue: Lamut Elementary School

Date: It will start Monday of September 5, 2010 and ends up to the last Monday and
Tuesday of February, 2012. The class is scheduled only Monday and Tuesday.

Time: Every 12:20 pm to 12:50 pm.
