To Sports fans and newcomers:

The Western Canada Chinese Sports Association (WCCSA) would like to

extend our most sincere invitation for you to participate in the 7th Annual CTC
Basketball Tournament on Oct 10th & 11th 2009 at The Richmond Olympic
Oval. It will be the venue of the speed skating events of the 2010 Winter
Olympics.  This yearʼs tournament will be our Second tournament that caters
to Chinese players in Western Canada. We envisage that we will foster a
strong united Chinese community through the camaraderie of sportsmanship.
 
This year, teams will compete in 2 divisions (below 35 & above 35) for the title
in a weekend of fun and action. We will have our Opening Ceremony, drawing
of brackets, round robin and female team exhibition games on the first
day.  Round robin play will continue on the first half of the second day, and the
playoffs and closing ceremony will follow afterwards. Last yearʼs champion,
SFCCU from San Francisco is expected to return this year to defend their title
against fiercer competition.  Application form and the rules & regulations of
this tournament are attached with this invitation letter.
