6202 Truckee Ct Newark, CA 94560 Included is my experience in school, volunteer positions, and (510) 304 8935 the workforce. In June of 2019, I will receive my high school kacygilliam@gmail.com diploma from Newark Memorial High School. I have always loved working with other people, and I have a deep appreciation for the culture around me. I hope that you will consider me for your school. Throughout high school, I have been a part of groups and activities that require high levels of communication and leadership skills. For the last four years, I have been on the varsity cheerleading team and have been captain for the last three years. This position required me to work with superiors, subordinates, and my peers, which made me instantly learn how to deal with a diverse group of people. My junior year of high school, I joined the school’s Medical Club, where I participated in the intense planning of a blood drive with Stanford Hospital. This took several months to plan, and demanded an immense amount of communication with my peers, our Stanford representative, and our advisor. However, it ended up being a huge success, with us raising about 80 pints of blood for patients in need. Lastly, one of my most important experiences was working at Ash Street Park Summer Recreation as a Recreation Leader. I was in charge of about 25 children from ages 5 to 10. Within this job was an assortment of individuals. We worked in the low-income part of town where the lunch we provided for the kids was often their only meal of the day. From this job, I learned how to deal with kids’ social problems, hostile parents, and how to work with others. Everyday I utilize the leadership and communication skills I have learned in group projects at school, in the workplace, and at cheer, and I know they will benefit your school. Finally, I thank you for taking the time to read this, and I will do whatever it takes to make your school a better place, as it is the least I can do for all the people that gave back to me in this community. Please feel free to give me a call if you have any questions or concerns with my resume.
