Your decision to participate in the preeminent leadership development program on campus will be a truly rewarding experience. The UCSB Army ROTC program has a rich heritage. We are noted for producing men and women leaders who have the physical and mental ability to succeed in any endeavor, the moral courage to make tough decisions, and the enthusiasm to see them through. ‘The program of quality instruction and exciting training will provide you the opportunity to expand your potential. Through active participation in the UCSB ROTC program you will be rewarded with lasting friendships, unique educational experiences, and fond memories of the stimulating activities in which you played a key role. Your motivation, initiative, and attention to detail will assist you in measuring up to the standards required to wear the gold bars of a second lieutenant.
