Definition of Terms

Work Immersion is a part of the K to 12 curriculums existing of 80 hours of hands on

experience or work simulation to the grade 12 students, Immersion is the action of immersing

someone or something. Ethics are moral principles that govern a person’s behaviour or

conducting of an activity, that branch of philosophy dealing with values relating to human

conduct, with respect to the rightness and wrongness of certain actions and to the goodness and

badness of the motives and ends of such actions. Competencies are defined behaviours that

provide a structured guide enabling the identification, evaluation and development of the

behaviour in individual employees, this is the ability to do something successfully or efficiently.

Curriculum is the subject comprising a course of study in a school or college. Typically

curriculum refers to the knowledge and skills students are expected to learn.
