COMPUTER SYSTEM SERVICING (CSS) GUIDE

1. Create a Bootable USB Flash Drive with MS Windows Server 2008 R2 OS

2. Install MS Windows Server 2008 R2 OS with the following configuration:
 Partition hard drive into two (2)
 Password: P@$$w0rd
 Server Name: MyServer
 IP Address: 192.168.0.25 ; Gateway: 192.168.0.1
 FQDN: MTI.COM
Run Services
 DNS Client
 Function Discovery
 SSDP
 UPNP
3. Install the following Roles:
 ADDS
 DNS
- this will be installed upon running DCPROMO
 DHCP
- Scope Starting IP: 192.168.0.30 Client: 25
- Scope Name: CSS Scope
- Wireless SSID: (your family name) Password: Free to choose
- Disable the DHCP of Router
* Connect the Client PC and Laptop to your Domain

 FILE SERVICES
- Create two (2) Organizational Unit (of your choice with 2 users under each
OU
- Redirect the following to the server using GPO: My Documents, My videos
 REMOTE SERVICES
- Demonstrate Remote Desktop on Wired and Wireless Client
 PRINT SERVICES
- Install a printer on the server and deploy it using GPO in one (1) OU only
- Do a test print on wired & wireless client
