    SCHEDULE
    System of Play: a) Maximum 8 (Eight) rounds of game will be in FIDE SWISS
    SYSTEM with single time control of 1 hour 30 Seconds + 30 Second.
    Increment per move from 1st Move.
    b) The Tournament will be conducted as per Latest Fide Laws of Chess
    c) No Mobile Phones/Electronic devices, wrist watches allowed with the
    players inside the tournament hall during the game.
    Tie-Break: Latest Tie Break rule will be applied.
    Dispute: In Case of disputes the Chief Arbiter’s decision shall be final

    ELIGIBILITY
    This Championship is open to all residents of West Bengal only. The VALID BCA
    Registration Card/ Receipt is to be produced at the time of entry. Players are
    requested to register themselves with the BCA for the year 2019 by filling up the
    prescribed forms and paying the requisite fees of Rs. 200 along with two stamp
    sized colour photos and one copy of Birth Certificate.

    The participants are informed that AICF player’s registration is mandatory


    and it should be done well before participating in any tournament. From 01st
    September, 2017 all registration by players will be accepted only through

    Note: One passport size (less than 1 MB) photograph in jpeg format should
    be uploaded.

    Players from West Bengal have to register themselves with Bengal Chess
    Association.

    The Tournament is open to all who are born on


    or after 01.01.2004.
    ENTRY FEES
    Rs. 1000/-
    No entries will be accepted over phone. The last date of registration is 1st June 2019. No
    one will be allowed to register after that, including players from outside Kolkata. Players from
    districts away from Kolkata will be able to pay the entry fees on 5th June, 2019, only if they
    inform us in advance by sending e-mail at bengalchess@gmail.com

    However, entries will be accepted till 3rd June with a late fee of Rs. 200/-
