Status Update #1

● Section 14-02
○ Completed on January 24, 2019
■ Attached the stub spar doubler plate and TIP attach angle piece to rear spar
■ Assembled flaperon hinge plate
● Section 14-03
○ Completed on January 17, 2019
■ Attached flaperon hinge plate to rear spar doubler plate then attaching all that to
the rear spar
● Section 15-02
○ Completed on January 24, 2019
■ All W-1208 nose rib flanges were fluted
● Section 15-03
○ Completed on January 24, 2019
■ Some ribs were trimmed and the W-1210B-R Rib Doubler was riveted to the
match-drilled W-1210-R Main Rib
● Section 15-04
○ Completed on January 24, 2019
■ Riveted the main ribs to the inboard attach angle and the Rear Spar Assembly
● Section 15-05
○ Completed on January 17, 2019
■ Riveted the forward and aft trimmed W-1208-R Nose Rib with the attached
nutplates to the attach angle
■ Riveted Stub Spar
■ Inserted the snap bushings into the W-1208 Nose Ribs
● Section 15-07
○ Completed on January 24, 2019
■ Continuation of Section 15-05
● Section 16-04
○ Completed on January 29, 2019
■ Fabricated two WH-B216 (WHT) Terminal Ground Wires by cutting two pieces
of 18 gauge wire 5 inches long
■ Attached the ES-00077 Floating 8 Pos Connector Female to the ES-00081
Standoffs
● Section 17-02
○ Completed on February 12, 2019
■ Final-Drilled #22 the holes in the doubler, inbd wing skin, and flange of the Front
Spar Assembly for the eight BSPQ rivets
■ Riveted the inbd wing skin and the doubler to the bottom of the wing
■ Final-Drill 3/8 the #30 hole in the W-1203-R Outbd Wing Skin for the tie down
ring
● Section 40-05
○ Completed on February 7, 2019
■ Attached ES-00077 Floating 8 Pos Female Connector to right wing
■ Cut and feed four pieces of 18 gauge 153 inch wire through the right wing
■ Cut and feed one piece of 18 gauge 130 inch wire through the right wing
■ Fit floating connector pins onto all wires and feed them into the ES-00077
Floating 8 Pos Female Connector
■ Re-attached ES-00077 Floating 8 Pos Female Connector to right wing using lock
tight on the screws

Status Update #2

● Section 17-03
○ Completed on March 19, 2019
■ Riveting leading edge of wing skins to ribs
■ Attaching hinge ribs
■ Riveting inboard upper wing skin to ribs
■ Riveting outboard upper wing skin to ribs
● Section 18-06
○ Completed on March 13, 2019
■ Cleco the A-1201C-L Outbd Nose Skin to the under structure. Rivet the
outbd nose skin to the under structure EXCEPT along its inboard edge
where the A-1201B-L Mid Nose Skin overlaps.
■ Cleco the A-1201A-L Inbd Nose Skin to the under structure of the wing.
Match-Drill #30 the holes common between the inbd nose skin and the
A-1210-L & -R Inbd Nose Ribs. Insert a cleco after each hole is drilled.
Remove the #40 clecos from each inbd nose rib and final-drill #30.
● Section 40-02
○ Completed on March 19, 2019
■ Drill screw holes into W-1203-R Outbd Wing Skin for landing light ribs
■ Cut out a hole in the W-1203-R Outbd Wing Skin for the landing light
■ Deburr all holes and sand the edges of the landing light cutout
● Section 40-03
○ Completed on March 29, 2019
■ Final-Drill #27, debur, then dimple the eight holes in the W-1203-R Outbd
Wing Skin surrounding the landing light cutout for the head of a #6 screw.
■ Trim back the corners of the W-00014 Len​s to match the edges of the
W-1223E Lens Backing Strips as shown in Figure 3.
● Section 40-04
○ Completed on March 26, 2019
■ Rivet the W-1223C Rib Doubler to the W-1223B-L Landing Light Rib as
shown in Figure 2. Repeat this step for the remaining rib doubler and
W-1223B-R Landing Light Rib.

Status Update #3

● Section 40-06
○ Completed on April 16, 2019
■ Pulled wires out into the Outboard Wing Skin, trimmed them, stripped
them, then crimped them onto the Molex pins.
● Section 40-07
○ Completed on April 16, 2019
■ Snapped the remaining Molex pins to their respective wires.
■ Installed the landing light and tightened them with bolts.
● Section 40-08
○ Completed on May 7, 2019
■ Trimmed W-1222-L to correct size then match drilled holes that were
already in the wingtip.
■ Filled cavities with flox mixture we made then cleaned any that oozed out.
● Section 40-09
○ Currently in Progress as of May 30, 2019
■ Clamped the mount bracket in place then machine countersunk the attach
holes to 120°.
■ Attached the ring terminal on the end of the WH-B211 Nav/Strobe
Ground Wires to the hole in the W-1204D Wing Tip Close-Outs.
■ Trimmed appropriate wires then crimped a female Molex pin onto the end
of each wire.
