YOUTH FORMATION PROGRAM

NARRATIVE REPORT
December 27-30, 2018

DAY 1

The SPG President of Adriatico Memorial School, Zabdiel Austin O.


Magnaye together with his teacher-coach Karren A. Catly arrived at Dumaguete at
around 10 o’clock in the morning of December 27. Upon the arrival, registration
followed at SouthView Hotel Function Room.

All the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) pupils and teachers checked in in
the hotel. At 2 o’clock in the afternoon, opening program started with different
activities to know each other. Each activity focuses on the Department of
Education core values which end at 7.00 in the evening. Food for dinner was
served and was followed by rest time of all participants.

DAY 2

Wake up call was at 4:00 in the morning with a Blessing module activity for
Maka-Diyos and Morning Hataw for Makabayan. Another activities was
conducted for all the participants such as Tikang: A lifelong Journey and Out of
the Maze before lunch time.

The interview for the finalist of all categories started at 2 o’clock in the
afternoon and last until 6 o’clock in the evening. There was a short program after
the interview where in the panel of judges were presented and commitment pledge
was done by all the participants.

Day 3

The third day was the awarding ceremony held at Convention Center of
Dumaguete City. All regions who were qualified, received the plaque of
recognition as National Finalist. Adriatico Memorial School SPG President
Zabdiel Austin O. Magnaye, from the Division of Calapan City-MIMAROPA
Region was declared as the Outstanding SPG in the MAKADIYOS category.
Wearing the regional costume of Mangyan Tribe-Hanunuo, the teacher and the
pupil received the award.
Day 4

It was the departure day for all the participants from SouthView Hotel of
Dumaguete City to their respective places.

Indeed, it was a successful event which recognized the accomplishments and


important contributions of the teacher-advisers in the respective institutions and
communities through their Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) and Supreme student
Government (SSG).

A. Catly (teacher-coach) of Adriatico Memorial School participate in different
activities conducted by GABA-AN LEAD YOUTH and receive the award of Most
Outstanding in the Search for Outstanding SPG-MAKADIYOS category held at
Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Dec. 27-30.
