• Waterborne Polymer Hydrogels Via Azetidinium-Amine Reaction
(Advisor: Dr. Subrata Chattopadhyay, Assistant Professor, IIT Patna, August’17-March’18)
◦ Objective of this project is to synthesize a hydrogel, a crosslinked polymer via azetidinium-amine
reaction such that it has a good water holding capacity, this property is achieved by introducing the
couplers of different functionality in the polymer backbone.This hydrogel with enhanced properties
can be used in soil to increase it’s water absorbing capacity.

• Process Design of E-07 Shell and Tube Exchanger in DHDT Unit for Single Phase Heat Transfer
(Adviser: Dr. B.S.Pachahara, DGM, production department,IOCL Mathura Refinery, May’17-July’17)
◦ Transfer of heat from one fluid to another is an important operation for most of the chemical industries.
Objective of this project is to design an efficient heat exchanger for exchanging heat from one fluid to
another and can be used in various units of refinery.

• Determination of Sound Velocity in Binary Liquid System

(Advisor: Dr.Debabrata Seth, Assistant Professor, IIT Patna, Oct’16- Nov’16 )
◦ Objective :To determine the sound velocity in the binary system of benzaldehyde and hexane and
calculate various acoustic properties.This project therefore deals with the method of measuring the
distance between consecutive nodes, such type of measurements can be used to identify complex for-
mation and to calculate stability constants.

• Determination of Composition of a Mixture of Glycerol and Water

(Advisor: Dr. Debabrata Seth, Dept. of Chemistry, IIT Patna , Sept’16 - Oct’16 )
◦ Objective is to determine the composition of a mixture of glycerol and water,using refractometer where,
refractive index is a property used to confirm the purity of substance. Draw the plot for composition
Vs. refractive indices of solutions prepared and find the composition for unknown mixture from the
graph.

• Potentiometric Titration to determine the concentration of Unknown Solution

(Advisor: Dr Sahid Hussain, IIT Patna, Feb’15-March’15 )
◦ Worked to determine the concentration of acetic acid of unknown concentration by titrating it against
standard sodium hydroxide solution using acid-base indicator as well as potentiometrically and com-
pare the results of two techniques.

Patna. There was two round in this event first was based on communication skills and second was based
on general knowledge.

• Participated in synghphony in techno-cultural fest Anwesha(2014-2015).

• Organiser of an event Chem-circuit in Celesta(2015-16)

• Participated in district level competition that is organised by National Children Science Congress got se-
lected for 4 years scholarship (2008-2012).
