Activity: PARENTS’ GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND HRPTA MEETING

Date: June 8, 2019

Objectives:
 to inform the parents about the school’s rules and regulations
 To helps the parents understand more about the school, students and
staff
 Serves as support group and a significant partner of the school to
promote the welfare of the students.

Highlights

In order to settle things up, Mabalacat National High School, headed by Dr.
Jennifer Q. Cunanan, the school principal, together with her teaching staff had
its first Parents General Assembly for the orientation at MNHS covered court and
at 8-Garcia classroom for HRPTA meeting last June 8, 2019.

The purpose of the assembly is to discuss the following:

1. Rules and Regulations of the School
2. No Collection Policy (only the authorized collections are allowed)
3. HRPTA Elections of Officers
4. Classroom Project
5. Other reminders such as NO PSA Form I37 for transferees

In terms of the attendance, out of 37, only 11 parents/guardians attended

the meeting. We had successfully elected HRPTA officers for 8-Garcia.

After the elections of officers, It was majority favored that the project for 8-
Garcia was to provide addition electric fan for the classroom. They all have
agreed that they will pay 100 pesos each until June 30, 2019. This project was
headed by the newly elected President Mr. Benjamin Carlos

In addition, there was also an open forum between the teachers and
parents wherein they were free to ask questions regarding to the agenda’s that
had been discussed. There were some question raised by the parents that were
answered well by the adviser.

Activity: OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA

Date: MAY 27-31, 2019

Objectives:

It aims to ensure that students are properly enrolled and able to attend school
during the opening of classes.

Highlights

The Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) is part of the Department’s efforts to ensure that
learners are properly enrolled and able to attend school on the first day of classes. The
OBE aims to address problems, queries and other concerns commonly encountered by
the public at the start of the school year.

Last May 27 – 30, Mabalacat National High School had its Oplan Balik Eskwela in
preparation for the opening of classes on June 3. Teachers were given enough time to
fix their classroom and decorate their bulletin boards. This week also, teachers are busy
preparing their lessons needed for their students.

Part of this week is the grand opening and awarding of winners for Project-Icare.
This day was the exhibit of the instructional materials created by the teachers from
different clusters.
