Carpe Diem

There are moments in life that we thinking about our future. Owning a

house, a luxury car, traveling to different places, getting married, all of

these are just some of those plans that we think of. Having plans and

dreams is a good thing. However, there are moments in which all we

have to do is enjoy what we have now and skip the planning part.

As of the moment, I have many plans for my future. I want to finish my

studies on time and be able to graduate with my peers. I'm planning to

have a stable job and be able to sustain my needs and wants all by my

self. I want to be able to give a part of my salary to my parents or buy

them gifts to show that all of their efforts and sacrifices in molding me

will eventually be paid off, to make them proud, and of course, to make

them happy. I also see myself as a happy wife married to the one I

truly love and a mother of cute kids.

But, I can't deny the fact that sometimes, I forget to treasure the

moment that I'm living for the time being. When I'm with my friends,

watching them laughing and smiling for some silly joke someone
mentioned, I am reminded of the value of that certain moment. Then I

found myself joining them, laughing and smiling. I began to enjoy

every little time and every little detail of my life.

I'm living the life that I chose. I paved my own path. And I'm enjoying

and seizing every moment of my life. Carpe diem.
