Design of a drivetrain Boost DC-DC converter

Figure below shows a drivetrain Boost converter interfacing a battery system and an electric drive system.
Switches S1 and S2 consist of N devices connected in parallel, each device consisting of a parallel
combination of an IGBT and a diode, which have the following conduction-loss parameters:

 IGBT: VCES = 0.8 V, RCE = 25 m

 Diode: VD = 1.5 V, RD = 15 m

In this problem, only the conduction losses are considered. You may assume that inductor current and
capacitor voltage ripples are small, and that the inductor winding resistance is RL = 10 m. The system
specifications are as follows:

 200 V Vbat 300 V

 Vbus = 500 V
 50 kW Pbus +50 kW, Pbus = VbusIbus
 Efficiency  97%

Find how many devices N should be connected in parallel to meet the efficiency specification at all
operating points. Show all work.
